DAY 10 – I DON’T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE
As we all know, Netflix has been absolutely killing it with their original content over the pas few years. Their darkly-brilliant and retro-styled indie release I DON’T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE (2017) was a lot of fun for me. Directed by Macon Blair, who starred in the outstanding revenge film BLUE RUIN, effectively captures a seedy world that seems out of time, but yet, recognizable. Not only does it feature the underrated Melanie Lynskey as the protagonist frustrated with the world, but Elijah Wood is hilarious as the heavy metal-loving ninja-wannabe neighbor. The movie goes gloriously off-the-rails just in the way I adore. Watch this movie. Seriously…

Glad to hear that it is as good as the trailer made it out to be! It was already on my list of must see movies, but I guess it needs to be a bit closer to the top.
